If you spend time staying fit, you know how important good shoes are. And with tons of jogging shoes available, it’s crazy just knowing where to start. It sure would be nice to buy a shoe that will last a few hundred miles of running, and doesn’t cost a fortune. The best running shoe doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Good running shoes fit well.

Jogging shoes are like a Razor Kiddie Kick Scooter the most important piece of equipment that a runners owns. Not only do they protect your feet, they help you run better as well. Millions of dollars go into running shoes and almost all of the athletic shoe makers put tons of money right into the science and technology of jogging shoes.

Ask 10 runners and get 10 answers, but I believe the best are…… Nike, Pumas and Adidas. I have had experiences with both and have been very pleased just as I was with my Razor A2 Scooter. If you get a good Brooks or Asics shoe, they will have good support in the ankle and they will feel soft. Pumas I’ve found to be different with no cushion. The Puma though, is not heavy at all and comfy on your feet. I highly recommend Asics and Brooks. I can say all of my preferences, but really what works for you is what is best for you.  I have never come across a bad pair of Brooks or Asics. It may be difficult, but it’s well worth it to find what fits best on your foot.

No matter what type of jogging you do, it is very important to choose running shoes that are correct for you. If you’re just getting started in jogging, this is essential. Many people get a bad start in jogging simply by using a simple tennis shoe. It will probably take a while to find the best running shoes yet in the end you’ll have a comfortable fit and less risk for injury.

The first place to go is to a store that deals only in in running shoes. Advise the salesperson of the type of distance running, the frequency of your running, and whether you run on concrete, track field, etc. Make sure you get your arches checked at the store to get the best fit.
